  The celebrity business person I'd like to talk about for you today, I'm sure you've heard of，it's Ma Yun or,to use his Englsh name,Jack Ma,the founder and ex-chairman of Ali Group and its subsidiaries.

  What I find interesting is that he started off as an English teacher, and to this day, is fondly called Teacher Ma. He also famously failed the Chinese College entrance exam.I don't remember exactly how many times,but I think it was so many that he eventually gave up and started working.A good thing if you ask me.

  Teacher Ma has been involved in the explosion, here in China, of the internet purchasing phenomenon. He created platforms like TaoBao,and of course the famous Alipay electronic payment system. It took longer than most people think to become as extensive as it now is ... around 10 years I believe. It certainly wasn't instantaneous and took a lot of hard work.

  Through all this though, he has become one of, if not the, richest man in China and now that he has stepped down as chairman of Ali Group, apparently wants to go back to his roots, that of education. He is currently very philanthropic(慈善的)in pedagogical(教学的)practices and learning not only for the Chinese people, but worldwide.

  Personally, I think Mr. Ma is a beacon of hope and dedication. Although now, he most assuredly has a very easy life and wants for nothing, he has not always been this way,worked extremely hard to get where he is today because, from what I know, he didn't come from a privileged background. I think if a few more people could be like this, the world would be a better place.
