will和would傻傻分不清楚?其实，这两个词差别还是很大的噢!
首先，我们一定了解过诸如“would是will的过去式”、“will和would在if条件句中”等用法，那我们今天来聊点别的。
先来看个考生写的句子吧
Prisoners lose their freedom completely in prison, and everything they do is regulated. This will have a deterrent effect on society, so that people with criminal tendencies will not dare to commit crimes at the risk of being sent to prison.
囚犯在监狱中完全失去自由，受到管制。这将对社会产生威慑作用，有犯罪倾向的人将不敢再冒险作案。
分析
解析：这句话中使用了多个will，但will表示“有证据表明这件事将来会发生或成为事实have evidence that something is going to happen or be the case in the future”，其语气中有一种“确定性 the sense of certainty”，那放在这样的句子中就有些过于极端了，因为我们无法确保这种威慑作用，也无法确保潜在罪犯能幡然醒悟。
参考例句：Therefore, it is important that children learn at an early age to use the equipment enthusiastically and with confidence as they will need these skills throughout their studies and working lives.
那么would呢?它可以用在“可能发生的情况的结果the result or effect of a possible situation”上，所以它本身更强调一种“可能性”而非“确定性”。
参考例句：It would cost very much more for the four of us to go from Italy.
Three years after that, the district would face a deficit of nearly $13 million.
