  The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look ttfter redevelopment next year.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main featuresi and make comparisons where relevant.

  The picture shown illustrates the "Southwest Airport' today and after some planned develop ment due to be completed next year.

  On the left, in the diagram of how the airport looks currently, the departures hall contains a check-in area as well as a cafe. Beyond Passport Control and Security, there is one powered walkway on the left servicing the first three gates, with a total of eight gates. On arrival, travellers simply pass through Passport Control and Customs before exiting.

  The planned development includes an added Bag Drop in Departures and a selection of shops beyond Security. A sky train will replace the walkway and will be moved to the central area of the gates that will increase in number from eight to eighteen. The Arrivals Hall will also have some features added, including a cafe,ATM and a Car Hire desk.

  In summary after the expansion, the airport will be able to cater for more planes and will offer travellers a larger range of services. (165 words)
