  Dear Sir/ Madam,

  I have been a frequent shopper at your Winchester branch for several years and have been very happy with your supermarket. However, last Saturday I was involved in an accident there, when numerous cans fell onto my head from a top shelf. My head was cut in several places and I had to be taken to hospital. I believe that the accident was caused by the cans being incorrectly placed on the shelves.

  I would suggest that your staff take a lot more care in future when they place products on shelves. Also, it might be a good idea to avoid placing heavier items on top shelves in future, so that injuries like mine are avoided if items do fall off.

  I am sure that the accident was not caused by any wish to harm anyone and will not be taking the matter further, but I would like your assurance that measures have been taken to prevent similar problems in the future. Yours faithfully, John Brown (164 words)
