  1. 本部分采用了独白(monologue)的形式，介绍了伦敦附近的一些公园和开放性区域。I’ll start by telling you about some of the parks and open spaces nearby(首先，我将会给大家讲一下附近的一些公园和开放性区域)，其中“by”有“通过、凭借”之意，表示一种手段或方式。

  2. 接下来这位介绍者介绍了一个地方：This has been public land for hundreds of years…，其中“hundreds of years”表示“数百年”，通常我们会看到“hundreds of people”表示“数百人”。

  3. Then there’s Holt Island, which is noted for its great range of trees. 其中“which”是关系代词，指代前面的“Holt Island”。

  4. 然后介绍者又说Longfield Park has a programme of activities throughout the year…(Longfiled 公园全年都有活动)，“throughout”表示“自始至终，一直”之意，同“during”。
