1. overbearing /??v?'be?r??/
adj. often trying to control the behavior of other people in an annoying or unwanted way. 傲慢的；专横的；
e.g. After years of living with a bossy and overbearing wife, Max decided to divorce her.
注：bossy=overbearing = domineering
2. patronizing /'petr?na?z??/
adj. showing that you believe you are more intelligent or better than other people 自视高人一等的；
e.g. She was always rather patronizing towards her less well-off friends.
注：well-off 富裕的;家境好的
3. calculating /'k?lkj?le?t??/
adj. carefully thinking about and planning actions for selfish or improper reasons. 有心计的;诡计多端的
e.g. Ben Gurion was a cool, calculating and clever politician.
