范文：
The person I am going to tell you is my father's best friend.They were born in the same village and have known each other for more than 30 years.He is a professor at the mathematical department of XXX university.He has published many papers and several books,which has earned him some fame in the academic circle.
I do not remember when I first met him.It seems that ever since I had memory,he has been a regular visitor to my home.Almost every Saturday, this article is from Laokaoya website,he and my father would drink some wine,chat for a while,and play chess together.So I have always been very familiar with him.Back in primary school,my performance in math was disappointing, my father asked him to do some tutoring work.That is when he became my childhood model.His explanation was much clearer than that of my teacher at school.He taught me how to relate the cold figures and equations to the colorful real world,which turned math into an interesting subject.Thanks to him,my math grade had improved a lot.
When I grew up,I wanted to become a person just like him,who is intelligent and patient.I would use my knowledge and power to help others solve their study problems and find the pleasure of study.
