A book is an adventure..to me. I read what I need to improvise, relief and know. All authors are sharing, whether it is their views, experiences or knowledge. Where ever I am at one moment in time, a certain book may be a companion, light, healer and inspiration. When I was a young teenager, my favorite books were of the horror genre. I read just about every "Goosebumps" book, and then graduated to R.L. Stine's series that was aimed at a slightly older audience - "Fear Street." As an older teenager, I read Stephen King. Oddly, as an adult I read almost no books of the horror genre, although I still like a scary movie every once in a while!
