  The outdoor activity that I like doing is swimming. I go swimming during the summer, and I normally swim twice or thrice a week. Since I live in coastal city, I sometimes swim in the sea. For safety reason, most of time I swim in the outdoor swimming pool. However, I would more prefer to go to seaside to swim.

  I start to learn swimming since 8 years old, the reason I learn swimming is my parents considered that swimming is beneflcial to my health, since I was easy to catch cold when I was young. Moreover, I can also protect myself from drowning (溺水). There are several reasons that I like to swim.

  Firstly, without overworking the heart, swimming improves the body’s use of oxygen (氧气)and increases lung function. Everything sounded really difficult for a young teenager. However, at last I succeeded. My parents always tell me how to get along and communicate with others. And those experience yet, on the other hand a It is also recognized as a terrific low impact exercise for those who don’t like the effects of jogging on their knees, because while in water you are non weight bearing. The other factor includes that swimming does not dripping with sweat compares with other activities, instead, it is cool for summer. In addition, keep swimming regularly can make your body looks fit and in a good shape. a lot in my later team work and ability development. To me this is a very important characteristic. This quality has saved me from making many mistakes and saved me from lamenting later on. Thus, swimming is the outdoor activity that I like to do.
