  A couple of weeks ago, I read a news from BBC, titled “working out on a regular basis can buy us 5 more years”. It says, latest study shows that doing moderate exercise regularly can effectively reduce the risk of various diseases and bring people a longer life expectancy.

  Personally, I am strongly in favor of this. And to encourage more people living a higher life style, I do hope that our local government could invest in infrastructure, especially building more gyms & indoor fitness centers in residential areas. Then, it would be more likely for us to go there to work out on a regular basis. Coz’, you know, now serious smog problem makes the public in China doubt about the safety of outdoor activity.

  We really need more indoor fitness facilities. Coz’ Can you imagine how frustrated I am, when I make up mind to start my working-out plan, but the nearest gym or fitness club I could find is like 30-minute drive away from my flat.

  Actually, I am not alone. Meanwhile in the city, most urban population is either collapsing in front of the screen of TV, PC, smart phone, or fully occupied with heavy workload. Consequently, quite a few of us would spend an hour a day, 3 days a week in doing some moderate sports. Due to this situation, an increasing number of citizens in my hometown are facing the problems of overweight, obesity even heart disease. With the measure I suggest about constructing more indoor body-building clubs & facilities, I’m positive those health problems would soon be curb & tackle.

  Also, I do suggest those gym or fitness club would open up to the locals with a reasonable & affordable price, and this would produce more opportunities for people who are earning a living wages to join with others to keep fit & build body. For basically in my home city, cost for applying the membership of a fitness center can be staggeringly high.

  I would love to see this happens some day in the future and with a healthier population, it would be more likely to secure a good future for our community.
