  1.What app do you usually use?

  I use social networking apps a lot, to contact with friends and know about their recent life. Also I'd read news, especially some gossips, on Weibo, which I think it’s a good way to release my study pressure.

  2.What kind of app do you want to have?

  I'd like to try apps about painting on iPad. You know I'm a big fan of sneaker collection, and I have an idea to design the shoes appearance by myself. And I know there 5s various apps that can help people who are not professional to make a sketch and color it.

  3.Do you want to create an app?

  If possible, I'm willing to have a try, coz it can be a great new skill for youngster. But actually, the apps in market can completely satisfy people’s demand, not only in study or work, but also in their entertainment.

  4.What kinds of APPs do you often use?

  I’ve got a lot of APPs on my iPhone. Those were downloaded just when I saw someone used it or just because I saw a pop-up on my Safari. What I can remember now are some APPs that are about English learning and gaming. For instance, I usually use the LDOCE 5, which is a very useful English-English dictionary designed by Longman.

  5.What kinds of APPs would you like to have in the future?

  I would like to have a traveling APP, which can allow me to find the most cost-effective air tickets for travel. Now, what I have on my iPhone are just some ordinary traveling APPs like Feizhu and Qunar, which are not that useful for me. So I really need an APP that perfectly suits my needs for cheaper air tickets and cleaner hotels.

  6.What's the most popular APP in your country?

  I think it must be Wechat, which is a Whatsapp like instant messages APP. Nearly everybody around me uses this APP for communication. We can either send text messages or audios to someone we need. Sometimes, it can be used as a payment method that liberated our wallets, we don’t need to spend cash, just a simple scan of our payment OR code, then everything’s set.

  7.What was the first APP you used?

  I remember it was an APP called TOM CAT, which is a very simple but funny APP. There is a cat named Tom, which can imitate our own voice and sometimes can even talk to us in simple words like what Siri does. This is an APP that is used just for leisure.

  8.Do old people in your country like to use APPs?

  I guess they don’t enjoy that much. They don’t even use smartphones quite often. Because they think the letters on the screen are too small to see. So they would rather have a walk in the yard instead of sitting on the sofa scrolling down the pages of words on the cellphone.
