学生在写作的主题段落里有一句写到：
Secondly, global companies usually face more pressure than local companies, as they have more world-class rivals.

看起来通顺的句子，其实关键问题有四：
1、 一般不说global companies。
2、 face more pressure这个动宾搭配不符合英语的用语习惯。
3、 local companies中的companies可以避免重复本句前面不远处global companies中的companies。
4、 have more world-class rivals中的动词have有更好且容易的替换。
如何修改后提分?
看下面
教师修改后的句子：
Secondly,multinational companies are usually under greater pressure than the local ones as they need to ompete with more world-class rivals.
句子分解：
1、 不说global companies，而是multinational companies。
2、 are (be) under greater pressure比face more pressure更符合英语的用语习惯。
3、 the local ones中的ones避免了重复companies。
4、 compete with more rivals中的compete with的意义比have更细更好。
总结：
1、 动宾搭配不要随意，需要符合英语的语用习惯。当然，靠经验积累。
2、 形容词和名词的搭配，也需要符合英语的语用习惯。
3、 动词要精选。
