  Today there is a great increase in anti-social behavior and lack of respect to others. What are the causes of this? What measures can be taken to reduce this problem?

  复现情况：2010年1月30、2011年1月22(太古老了!)

  本周考题复现了2010年的一个原题，但是这个已经太古老了，估计很少的同学能够复习到原题。疫后8月份雅思共考了8次，除8月22日一道新题外，其余都是重复往次旧题，其中2次重复2013年，1次重复2014年，2次重复2015年，此外2018年和2019年各重复1次，这让如今的雅思考试写作与疫情一样，显得有些不可捉摸了。本周更加离谱，居然重复到2010年的旧题!

  因此，老雅的备考建议是：备考时不要过于寄希望遇到原题，应以提高实力(句子、用词、审题)和熟悉高分规律(结构、开头、举例、结尾)为备考重点。

  就本题而言，我们首先应该弄明白，what is anti-social behavior? 反社会行为，可能有些同学狭隘地将其理解为犯罪行为，但实际上反社会行为要比犯罪行为的外延要大很多，它不仅包括犯罪行为，还包括诸如吸烟、吸毒、不尊重别人，甚至还包括孤僻、冷漠等行为。也就是说，反社会行为指的是“不与人交流，不尊重别人，自我隔离状态，与社会和他人格格不入，甚至侵害他人”的所有行为。如果考生仅将其理解为犯罪行为，就可能出现一定程度的偏题。

  此外，本题中还有一个不起眼的关键词“today”。既然是“现在”，那我们在分析中就要结合“现在”的特征，没有考虑“现在”特征而做的分析，也是偏题的。比如，如果考生将“人类本来就有反社会的心理倾向”作为一条理由来写，就是偏题的，因为这个心理倾向与“现在”无关。

  一旦我们正确地理解了关键词，那么，接下来的原因分析就比较容易。我们可以寻找物质原因(比如沉迷于电脑游戏)，可以寻找心理原因(比如当今单亲家庭越来越多造成孩子长大后缺乏爱)，可以寻找社会原因(比如现在这个社会生存压力巨大，无处不在的竞争使人与人之间的关系非常冷漠)。

  解决方法：鼓励大家走出虚拟世界，到现实世界交朋友;社区多组织活动，给人们提供相互交流的机会;提倡价值多元社会，让人人都能找到自我价值。可以看出，这些解决办法也是从个人、社区、社会多个角度来提出的。

  Contemporary world has witnessed the growing number of “lonely hearts” who would stay all by themselves rather than making friends with other people around them. They are generally cold, secluded, disrespectful, or even violent. They are, in one word, “anti-social”.

  Many people become anti-social because they are addicted to the virtual world enabled by the Internet. In this world, they find they can do almost everything, such as chatting, playing games, shopping, so they no longer think it necessary to interact with real people. Gradually they lose the interest in seeing people, and worse still, the ability to communicate with people.

  There are others who hate mixing with people simply because they are afraid of doing that. Such people are usually from broken families or single-parent families. Without the proper guidance from their parents, they often suffer from an inferior complex and do not feel at ease when they are working, or chatting, with others, so they always choose to isolate themselves from the rest of the world. The number of this kind of people are on the rise, as the divorce rate globally keeps going up nowadays.

  The more and more intense competition in today’s job market and work environment is also responsible. People tend to become hostile to each other when they are trying to secure a good job offer, or seeking an important promotion. In these cases, they show little respect to others.

  To deal with this negative development, the first thing to do is encourage people to go out of the Internet world and socialize with their neighbors, from which people will benefit a great deal more than their online experiences. The communities should create opportunities for people to interact with each other by organizing various kinds of events and activities. Finally, the situation would also be improved if all people were made to understand that a valuable life is not solely dependent upon a highly-paid job, but more on a harmonious relationship with other people.
