An increasing number of developing countries are expanding their tourist industry.

应对上面这个题目，考生在主体第一段是这么写的：
Naturally, many developing countries have advantages in tourism because of their abundant national resources and nice sceneries. As we can see, tourist industry may promote the economy at a low cost in these countries, which may help local residents attain a higher living standard.
第一句突出发展中国家自然资源丰富，第二句突出发展旅游业成本低，能提升当地人的生活水平。两个句子既未体现太大关系，又都没有进行充分拓展。
naturally “自然而然地”(用于觉得某事非常明显不出意料的情况下)，此处使用不太妥当。
改写如下
There are reasons why these less developed countries are expanding tourism; one is that it is a speedy money generator. With little need for vast investment from the government, whether it be financial or technological, tourism can integrate transport, hotels, and restaurants, driving billions in revenue and optimizing the locals’ lives.
解析：
首句还是概括段落核心内容为宜，提出核心概念reasons之后，分好后的分句直接写第一个原因，再加以论证。
whether it be … or … 不管是……还是…… ：虚拟的一种写法，be用原形
例句：They should then be able to refer you to the appropriate type of practitioner, whether it be your GP, dentist, or optician. 然后他们应当能够介绍你去见合适科别的执业医生，不管是你的全科医师、牙医还是配镜师。
