  本文题型：单主体议论文，讨论利弊。

  本文立场：利大于弊。主体段两段分别用【让步+反驳】的结构针对“keep in touch”和“news events”两个方面。

  【段落示范】【让步+反驳：针对keep in touch】

  1. Modern media provides its users with easier access to both their beloved ones and strangers by overcoming the geographic distance.

  * 这一句开门见山，简明指出社交媒体对于保持联系的好处——无视地域距离。

  2. Those who harbour prejudice toward social media and regard it as the factor of undermining face-to-face interaction are actually old-fashioned and even out of touch, as they picture the scenes decades ago when friends and family members contacted with each other by merely typing and receiving messages on a cold screen instead of talking face to face.

  * 这句话比较长：who后面点出大多数人认为社交媒体的弊端，通过actually这种小词，进行我方观点的输出(这种想法已经老旧了)，再提出具体我方理由：只能打字，限制面对面交流只是过去的情况，为后文现如今的社交科技作铺垫。

  3. In fact, things have changed with technology booming unprecedentedly.

  * 转折：提出我方观点的背景——科技迅速发展。

  4. Social media nowadays has made it possible for users to chat with each other in this virtual world just like the way they communicate in reality.

  * 点出我方主要观点：如今的社交媒体技术使得人们可以像在现实生活中一样在虚拟世界交流，侧面点出：不存在之前的隔阂顾虑。

  5. In other words, it is through modern media that people are able to keep in touch by either video-chatting or uploading photos especially during the outbreak of pandemics.
