I'm going to talk about a rule that I agree.
Many college dormitories have strict rules on the use of electric appliances,So does my school.THE rule states that electric appliances which use a lot of power are forbidden in dorms,such as refrigerators,electric cookers,and stuff like that.
Anyone who breaks the rule will face disciplinary punishment,which includes not only confiscating the appliance but also a written self-criticism.
From the shcool's perspective,limiting the use of electrical appliances can help protect students from fire disasters and other accidents,which is quite reasonable because there are always some incidents due to the improper use of electrical appliances every summer.
But I have to say this limitation on the use of appliances is quite inconvenient to someone who lives in a dorm,because the rule makes it impossible to use hair-driers.And also,we can't buy any food that requires cold storage since that we can't have refrigerator either.
Anyway,in the long run the benefits of the rule outweigh the inconvenience we have.
