Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The refurbishment process of a historic site is presented【被动语态】in the given maps. It can be seen that after renovation，more facilities were constructed in this area.【整体变化】
According to the first map, the majority of ancient constructions were located in the east of this region【主要建筑分布】in 2004.More specifically，there was a theatre for leisure activities，【说明用途】with【两个邻近地点】a few houses nearby. To the south of these buildings was【倒装句】a coastal palace，an attractive place for visitors【说明用途】，while several trees were on the opposite side.【在对面】In addition，a small il could be seen【情态动词的被动语态】in the northem part.
The following decade witnessed 【时间作主语，拟人用法】a dramatic change in layout， except for remaining the oniginal buildings.【说明不变的物体】To be exact， the living area near the theatre was extended【区域扩大】，with more houses built. Some trees in the southeast corner wee cut down【树木减少】，in order to construct a new stadium for daily exercise【说明用途】，Additionally. the northem hill was removed and replaced by【减少+新增】a bathing place，another infrastucture for the local residents.【说明用途】
Overall, it is easily apparent from the maps that this historic site became more attractive after more leisure places and infrastructure were constructed.【概括总体变化】
