  The charts show the population size, birth and death rate in England and Wales between 1700 and 2000. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

  The bar charts illustrate changing demographics (including the overall population, mortality and fertility rates) of England and Wales over a span of thee centuries, from 1700 to 2000.   As is obvious,England and Wales had become much more populous,with the total number of residents soaring from approximately 5 millon to 50 milion.   The fertility rate and mortality rate,as the second chart shows, had similar trend in the first two centuries.Specifically. the death rate grew significanty from about 3% in 1700 to 5% in 1800 before plunging to just below 3% in 1900.Lkewise, having peaked at 4% in 1800,the death rate dropped to only 2.4%.
