  但是，【柱图/条状图】的表现【优势】在于【直观】。需注意，仔细观察，本图同个地区的总数均为100%，因此本图也可能以【饼图】的形式出现。

  【开头段】

  通常两句话

  1. Shown in the bar chart are the four approaches of refuse disposal, and four cities – Toronto, Madrid, Kuala Lumper, and Amman - are taken a look at.

  2. Overall, citizens’ reliance varies to a notable extent within each city, with recycling and compost remaining less relied.

  第一句话：说明【图的主题】。and前为完全倒装，正常语序是：XXX are shown in the…。同时注意，题目中给出的地点状语，可以在转述时拆开，写成单独一句，两个短破折可引出【同位语的插入】，对具体四个城市解释说明。【词汇层面】refuse n. 垃圾，是常见单词不常见意思。disposal为环境类话题高频词。

  第二句话：写对于图中数据的【宏观综述】，with后是独立主格结构。

  【主体部分第1段】

  写两个以<填埋>为主要方式的城市

  1. In Toronto and Amman, people show most reliance on landfill.

  2. Specifically, Toronto is noteworthy, as it witnesses that three quarters of waste is landfilled, with the percentage far dwarfing that of other methods, at about 7%.

  3. Likewise, Amman disposes of nearly a half of waste by landfill and another two fifths by incineration, while the total percentage of two remainders is merely over 10%.

  注意下划线的部分：1)丰富句子主语;2)【伴随状语】的使用，来补充说明一些信息。

  第一句话：本段主题句，点明本段数据的共同点。同时词汇方面注意，四种处理方式均为环境类话题高频词，可学习。

  第二句话：使用dwarf等词的比较句式，一定要检查比较对象是否一致。此处，that指代the percentage.

  第三句话：呈上启下，说明Amman也是填埋使用最多。注意使用“XX be XX”主系表结构时，一定要保证主语和表语是同一类型。

  【主体部分第2段】

  写两个以<焚烧>为主要方式的城市

  1. By stark contrast, incineration is the predominant mode in two remaining cities.

  2. It disposes of two fifths of the rubbish in Madrid and over a half in Kuala Lumper.

  3. Such a situation contrasts sharply with that of compost, which only deals with less than 10% of the waste.

  4. In both cities, over one fifth of total refuse is recycled, and the rest of it is dealt with by landfill, the second reliant option in Madrid while the third relied one in Kuala Lumper.

  注意下划线的部分：丰富句子主语。

  第一句话：处理方式作主语。

  第二句话：it指代前文的incineration。

  第三句话：抽象名词作主语。依旧保证比较对象一致，that指代situation。

  第四句话：the second reliant option及之后内容，是同位语，作landfill的解释说明。
