Growing children need to have interesting new experiences to stimulate their imagination and mental development. Since children often find classroom teaching boring, schools should help children have exciting new experiences in other ways, for example:
- Offer children field trips to cultural events (art shows, museum exhibitions) or natural locations(parks, nature reserves)
- Help children read interesting books outside the classroom by giving them a certain amount of money to buy books they like.
Which of these two ways do you think is better to provide children with exciting new experiences that stimulate their minds? Why?

Task 2
阅读：学校要要叫一些演员来上戏剧课，可以吸引更多的人来学习这个专业，并且演员本身有很多宝贵的经验可以交给学生。

听力：不同意
第一：学生会去上这个演员的课，但不会转专业，或者去学这个专业，因为选择专业需要真正的兴趣；
第二：教书和表演是不一样的，演员可能没什么教学经验；此外，他的背景知识不如其他教授，所以演员不一定能上好课。

Task 3
人们会把可能发生的最坏的情况提前想到，然后做一些应对措施。
听力例子是教授和朋友需要飞去纽约开会，但是他们的行李在去纽约的路上被机场放到了别的地方。朋友因为提前准备了一些重要的paper以及一些行李和衣服，所以并不着急，但教授没有准备，所以需要临时去买衣服，再去打印paper。

Task 4
动物适应寒冷环境的特征（adaptation to cold environments）:
1. hare（雪兔）为了防止在雪中陷下去，脚趾很特别；
2. moose会改变自己的行为，他们通常是独立生存的动物，但遇到大雪时会一起行动，后面的moose会沿着第一只moose踩过的路走。
