Well, as the most important festival forChinese, the Spring Festival is usually the day when we send gifts and bestwishes to others. That is to say, we send whatever gifts that can symbol goodluck and best wishes. Commonly, as a child, when I visit my relatives, ireceive red pockets which contain tens bucks or hundreds of bucks from them.Because red is a symbol of good luck, and money conveys the hope of being richand full of fortune in the coming new year. Every year I got thousands of bucksfrom my parents or aunts, which makes me eager to welcome every new year.
