托福写作参考范文:
It is extremely reasonable for people to fall into the trap that environment is the real threat of our deteriorating fitness. In particular, when we all tend to hold the notion that the environment we live in is going south. However, it would be hasty to only put people’s health and fitness and ideal environment on the same scale.
Undoubtedly, what kind of places we are living in can affect our health conditions in a way. If one place was seriously polluted, it was highly likely to put people’s physical conditions at stake. To counteract he negative effect, both the authorities and individuals have to work together in a systematic way. For instance, the general public ought to recycle the daily waste according to the environmental protection law. In terms of the governments they need to shoulder the responsibilities of keeping the streets and communities as hygienic as possible. At the same time, it is also their obligation to keep an eye on the landfill sites. Otherwise, once the drinking water is contaminated, the outcome could be catastrophic. However, these are just a tip of the iceberg. Improving health will not be as simple as it seems.
In order to promote the public’s wellbeing, it would be the government’s job to increase the medical budget to provide every individual equal chance to receive professional medical attention. In this case, the general public’s worries and concerns might be largely eliminated. In addition to that, individuals have an active role to play in improving health as well. It’s hard to overlook the fact that the majority of us are currently living in a sedentary lifestyle. Therefore, it is of great significance for all of us to stay active in different social settings. Normally, it would be easy for us to procrastinate after a long day at school or at workplace. The thing is, if we indeed want to make the change, being active is paramount. Things like taking the stairs rather than taking the lift, walking back home if possible, using public transport more, if it is to do with the environment, are highly recommended.
Besides, as long as possible, it won’t do us any harm to work out regularly in a gym after a long day. It has been confirmed that exercising in a gym is beneficial for us both physically and mentally. Also, obesity is a global issue, and it is posing a life-threatening effect on our lives. Apart from doing regular exercise, it is sensible for us to eat balanced diet. Taking in more nutritious fruits and organic vegetables and reducing the intake of fattening deep fried and processed food would help in this case.
All in all, having a healthy state of mind and body will not only depend on the environment, but also in close relation to government policies, our daily routine, change of habits and so on.
