  Nowadays, children rely too much on the technology, like computers, smartphone, video games, for fun and entertainment. Playing simpler toys or playing outside with friends would be better for the children's development.

  托福写作题目分析：

  现在的孩子太依赖科技产品来获得乐趣。玩简单的玩具或者和朋友出去玩对孩子的发展更好。这个题目重复了16年2月28日的托福考题，所以此处要划重点了，那就是一定要对14-16年题目的进行思路梳理，为啥?因为会考原题呀。这个题目的主观点呢，建议选择玩玩具和和朋友浪，而且可以把这两个方向拆开，分别说出各自的好处，这样写是最简单的思路了，因为这两个方向只需各想一个好处即可。

  托福写作范文：

  With various electronic devices crowding into our daily life, people at all ages, especially young kids, begin to kill their time by playing video games, which has aroused wide attention among the public. Consequently, a growing number of educators and parents advocate that children should play simpler toys and hang out with friends instead of playing computers or smart phones at home. As for me, I am in favor of the above opinion, with the following reasons.

  Firstly, playing simple toys can be more conducive to children’s health. As we know, children, who are usually too immature to have strong self-discipline, are likely to become addicted to video games so that they may sit in front of the computer around the clock without stretching their body for a while. Obviously, not only will staring at the screen for a long time make them short-sighted, but also a sedentary lifestyle induced by addiction to electronic products will lead to obesity. By contrast, the process of playing simpler toys requires kids to constantly move their body. To be specific, while using Lego blocks to construct a tower, kids may firstly kneel down to count how many pieces of blocks are needed, then sit on the floor to pile up the base of the tower, and finally stand up to check whether the tower is symmetrical. The whole course will definitely burn more calories and need more movement of their hands or legs, thus contributing to their physical well-being.

  Secondly, hanging out with friends is also a better way to enhance children’s interpersonal skills. As is common sense, humans, as social beings, need learn how to efficiently interact with others. Staying together and playing with friends provide children a good opportunity to have a face-to-face chat, where some misunderstandings or divergences inevitably occur. While spending time together, they can learn how to reach an agreement and how to diffuse the misunderstanding. In this case, they will not feel nervous when encountering these troubles again in the future life and work. However, provided a kid is obsessed with the virtual world created in the computer games, he may find it difficult to socialize with others in the real life, incurring some negative emotions such as a sense of being isolated and loneliness. In a long run, adapting to the future campus life and work life may never be a piece of cake for them.

  In a nutshell, it is advisable for kids to play simple toys and play outside with friends, in order to have a healthier body and foster social skills
