  rebuttal

  the speech act of refuting by offering a contrary contention or argument

  n. 反驳;辩驳;反证

  The rebuttal to this actually takes an entire book to convey, but it first involves helping people understand that everything about talent is a process.

  recant

  to publicly say that you no longer have an opinion or belief that you once had

  vt. 放弃;撤回

  We should recant all opinions which are in conflict with those proclaimed by the central leadership.

  reclusive

  withdrawn from society; seeking solitude

  adj. 隐居的;隐遁的

  reconcile

  resignation

  the feeling that something unpleasant is going to happen and cannot be changed

  resolute

  very determined : having or showing a lot of determination

  respite
